Meet Dhruti Bhalodiya
Founder and Owner of Equinox Custom Signs
Dhruti Bhalodiya founded Equinox Custom Signs after experiencing firsthand how a sign project can affect a business opening. Before starting the company, Dhruti and her family were involved with a family-owned franchise inside a New Jersey mall. The mall required the business to have its sign installed before opening, but the sign provider missed the expected delivery date and stopped communicating, while other sign companies had significant backlogs.
That experience showed Dhruti how frustrating it can be when a business needs a clear answer but cannot get one. When she started Equinox, she built the company around the service she had wanted to receive: answering calls, providing regular project updates, setting realistic expectations, and being honest about what the company could or could not handle.
As a SWaM-certified Small, Women, and Minority-Owned business owner, Dhruti brings firsthand experience with the practical needs of running and growing a business. Today, she oversees client relationships, project planning, and the overall customer experience at Equinox Custom Signs. She focuses on understanding what each business needs, clearly explaining its options, and keeping communication open throughout the project.
